With this page I have no special scientific contribution
on my mind, but I just want to contribute my knowledge
about the cultivation of these fantastic plants.
There are many people who have much interest in these
small species, but they do not find enough good informa-
tion on the internet.
As a result of researches made by me, I gathered informa
tion on some species and their natural habitat.
Through this webpage I want to publish this information
and contribute to a better knowledge of these beautiful
plants.
The photos given to me for this page are kindly given by
several owners. These people will be credited at each
photo that is used.
The description of the ecosystems in order to determine
the cultivation for every single plant is very important.
But of a higher importance is the conservation of the
very forests, where these plants are found.
It is not enough to simple believe that the future of tho-
se plants will be safe when we can cultivate them at
home.
The forests and their biodiversity should be preserved
for the future so that the professional cultivator and also
the amateurs will be able to go back there and unders -
tand better the dynamics of those plants within their
natural environment.
